I’ll be extremely honest… I’m a procrastinator at heart. You wouldn’t know it, though, because I’m a productive beast when it absolutely matters. And I’ve made miracles happen with my productivity which comes straight out of a need to be procrastinating. Weird, right?
Getting fired is never fun. I only got fired once in my life, and that was definitely not the exception to the rule. If anything, I pretty much couldn’t feel a thing as it was happening. I barely remember the moment I was told I was out. Here’s the story of how I got fired, pretty much died inside for half a year, and then got offered a little lifeline.
When I got to my new apartment and its sadly empty walls and lack of warmth and homeliness, I decided to add some artsy geekness to them. But being that I’m not just a geek, but also very much love good, different design, I scoured the internet looking for interesting posters that I could stick to my walls. Or, as it were, pin to my walls.
Teachers are currently represented by uninspiring, childish visual imagery. Images like that neither revere the profession of teaching nor do justice to the intellectual and creative development teachers help guide in students of all ages.
Kpop is essentially what Motown used to be: a company trains and “fabricates” young people into becoming a whole nation’s idols, who actually have very little say in how they present their music to the masses. And still, it blew my mind. I’ll leave you to chew on that.
