AutoClé Locksmiths (AutoKey) approached me to help define and create a strong layout for their one-page website (with expansion possibilities) as they continue to position themselves as a major player in the Montreal area in the locksmithing arena. AutoKey’s philosophy is simple: valued clients are the motivation for what they do everyday. Thus, the client experience should be at the forefront of the company’s website experience too.

The objective was to redesign and reorganize their layout for a smoother, modern experience. Service information and contact details needed to be clear and present.

The solution

AutoClé Locksmiths’ former website had endured more than two decades of online life before I initiated a complete design overhaul. Already, 10+ years is an eon in this digital age, and today’s web is vastly more important in a company’s marketing arsenal, so in addition to creating a responsive, mobile-friendly user experience, I created an SEO-friendly copy and design with the customer in mind: services and business hours at the forefront, testimonials to help potential clients verify the company’s credibility and skills, a team section to humanize the company, and a blog to communicate with their clientele. What’s more, I added a subscribe section to help capture leads.
